No reason to buy Xbox! They have games covering every genre including more Star Wars games than you can shake your mint condition Sith double light saber at. Xbox even has plenty of soft core porn fighting games (read DOA) to satisfy the most discerning dweeb appetite, not to mention Xbox Live instantly connecting you to a million nerds, dorks, and the occasional spazz.
Perhaps you just can’t let yourself leave the safe happy world of Mario and Luigi in their latest game mod, so you may just be stuck playing high graphics 3D board games, button mashing your way to catching all the stars.
You should probably just wait till Xbox2 comes out, hopefully by then MS will have purchased Nintendo and you play Ultra Mario Bros. Happy Time Ping Pong in HD with glorious 7.1 surround sound.

Hahaha.

I just haven't been into video games much lately. Because of that, my bar is set pretty high. I'm sure (no, I know) that there are lots of good Xbox games out there. But none have really stood out and grabbed me yet.

The only games I've really played in the last few years have been big blockbusters like GTA: San Andreas, Zelda, Metroid Prime, etc.

Give me a killer app Xbox game and I'm sure I'll buy the system.

Maybe I'll feel differently if Heather ends up working for Xbox. :)

Oh I get it, you are saying I have lost my objectivity, eh. I think my definition of a "killer app" has just evolved to fit the big Xbox titles, which isn't necessarily a good thing. I will admit that I have not gotten into a game like some of the good ol' Nintendo games, but these days a racing game or a FPS on XBL suits me just fine.
It also doesn't hurt to consume the company wares; once you get a taste of some MSFT you'll be strangely drawn to all that MS has to offer...
